Who we are
HumanInTech (a HumanStory Holding company), Langestraat 31a, 1755 Kester, Belgium, VAT BE 0795.094.449, is the controller of the personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at info@humanintech.be.
What we process and why
When you use the contact form we process your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message to answer your request. When you apply through the application form we process your name, contact details, the vacancy you apply for, your preferred arrangement, your motivation and your CV and/or LinkedIn profile to evaluate your application. When you book an intake call, Calendly processes the data you enter there under its own privacy policy.
Importing your LinkedIn profile
Instead of uploading a CV you can choose to import your LinkedIn profile. This only happens when you click the import button and give your consent on LinkedIn's authorisation screen; we then receive a one-time copy of your profile (headline and summary, positions, education, skills, languages and certifications) through LinkedIn's Member Data Portability API. We show you what was imported before you submit, store it with your application only, and never contact LinkedIn again on your behalf. You can withdraw the authorisation at any time in your LinkedIn settings; this does not affect an application you already submitted.
AI-assisted screening
To handle applications quickly and consistently, an AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic) produces a first summary of your application against the vacancy: a short assessment, strengths, points to verify and requirements that appear not to be met, based solely on the information you gave us. This summary is an aid for our recruiters. Every decision about your application is taken by a person who reads your application; no decision is based solely on automated processing. Anthropic acts as our processor and does not use your data to train its models. You may ask us to explain an assessment or to review it without the assistant.
Talent alerts
If you subscribe to talent alerts we process your email address, name and the domains and positions you are interested in, to send you a weekly overview of open positions and, if you opted in, to contact you directly about a matching position. This is based on your consent; every mail contains an unsubscribe link and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Job links record which recipient link was used and when, to measure interest in the weekly overview. No tracking cookies are set. Forwarded links and mail scanners may also register.
Legal basis and retention
We process contact requests on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you, application data (including an imported LinkedIn profile and the AI-assisted summary) on the basis of pre-contractual steps at your request, and talent alerts on the basis of your consent. Contact requests are kept for at most 12 months; application data for at most 12 months after the end of the procedure unless you ask us to keep it longer; talent-alert data until you unsubscribe.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use the following processors, bound by data processing agreements: netcup GmbH (Germany) for hosting, Google Workspace for email, Anthropic for the AI-assisted screening, Calendly for intake-call bookings and LinkedIn as the source of a profile you choose to import. Where a processor is outside the EEA, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses functional cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the site. Google Analytics is only loaded after you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at info@humanintech.be.
