What you will do
You will be responsible for the operational management of services related to a central case management system used across the judicial domain. As multiple projects transition from development into operational IT services, you will ensure service quality, continuity and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily operations of the services, including support, incidents and user requests
- Implementing and managing ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management)
- Coordinating service desk activities and ticket management across L1, L2 and L3 support levels
- Monitoring and prioritising incidents, bugs and service requests
- Managing changes and ensuring controlled releases
- Tracking SLA and KPI performance and producing regular reports
- Acting as the operational point of contact between business users, ICT teams and external vendors
- Driving continuous service improvement initiatives
- Maintaining operational documentation, runbooks, procedures and workflows
What we are looking for
- 1 to 4 years of experience in ICT, application support or service management
- Basic knowledge of ITIL best practices
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
- Autonomous and structured working approach
- Native or fluent Dutch or French, with active knowledge of English
Nice to have:
- ITIL certification (or equivalent)
- Experience in the public sector or judicial environments
The setting
This is a freelance assignment for 12 months, starting as soon as possible. The role is based in Brussels with a hybrid working arrangement. You will work in a multi-stakeholder environment, coordinating between business users, internal ICT teams and external suppliers.
The working languages are Dutch, French and English.
