What you will do
You will be responsible for the operational management of one or more ICT projects within a large judicial case management programme that is unifying and digitalising processes across the judicial domain. The programme is in an active development phase with several strategic projects running in parallel.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing projects end-to-end: planning, budget, resources and dependencies
- Coordinating cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, ICT teams and external partners
- Managing risks, issues and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing regular reporting to governance bodies such as steering committees and management
- Ensuring quality of deliverables and adherence to deadlines
- Managing stakeholders and ensuring alignment across different parties
- Ensuring consistency between projects and with the overall programme roadmap
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes
What we are looking for
- 2 to 5 years of experience in ICT project management
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Prince2 or PMO frameworks
- Experience managing complex environments with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Analytical mindset and structured approach to problem-solving
- Native-level Dutch or French
- Active knowledge of English
Nice to have:
- Experience in the public sector or judicial domain
- Knowledge of case management systems
- Experience in digital transformation programmes
The setting
This is an assignment for 12 months, starting as soon as possible. The role is based in Brussels with a hybrid working arrangement. You will work within a Belgian public-sector organisation on a programme that is central to the modernisation of judicial processes.
The working languages are Dutch, French and English, and you will interact regularly with business teams, ICT colleagues and external partners.
