What you will do
You will lead and coordinate strategic programmes focused on cybersecurity, NIS2 compliance and audit activities within a public-sector organisation. Your role involves steering multiple workstreams, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing complex stakeholder landscapes.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading cybersecurity and NIS2 compliance programmes from initiation through to delivery
- Coordinating audit activities and ensuring follow-up on findings and recommendations
- Managing programme governance, including reporting, risk management and quality assurance
- Aligning technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners around common objectives
- Ensuring compliance with NIS2 directive requirements and other relevant regulations
- Monitoring programme progress, identifying dependencies and resolving blockers
- Facilitating decision-making processes and escalating issues where needed
What we are looking for
You bring solid experience in programme management within cybersecurity, compliance or audit contexts, ideally in public-sector or highly regulated environments.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience as a programme manager in cybersecurity, compliance or audit domains
- Strong understanding of NIS2 directive requirements and cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; French is an asset
- Ability to navigate public-sector governance structures and decision-making processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Relevant certifications in programme management (e.g. MSP, PgMP) or cybersecurity are a plus
The setting
This role is based in the Antwerp region. The assignment starts in May 2026. A hybrid working model is in place, with regular on-site presence required for stakeholder engagement and programme coordination.
Dutch is the primary working language, with English used for documentation and international coordination.
