What you will do
As Adoption Manager, you will ensure that new digital tools, functionalities and ways of working do not simply reach the dealer network, but are understood, implemented and effectively adopted by their intended users. You will be embedded in a support team, working closely with dealer relationship managers, internal product and process teams, and representatives of the dealer network. Your objective is to turn digital launches into sustainable usage and business value across the dealer network.
Prepare the network for change
- Build pragmatic adoption plans for relevant digital initiatives before go-live, covering target audiences, communication, enablement, KPIs and follow-up
- Collaborate closely with the existing communication team, leveraging their expertise and channels to ensure clear, consistent and timely communication towards the network
- Understand upcoming changes early by proactively engaging with product, process and project teams
- Act as the critical voice of the dealer network: challenge whether solutions, communication and training are sufficiently ready for a successful field implementation
Enable the relationship manager team and first line service desk
- Organise train-the-trainer sessions so relationship managers fully understand new tools, functionalities and expected ways of working before deployment
- Translate central project information into practical, ready-to-use field material: presentations, training packages, FAQs, implementation guides, talking points and supporting documentation
- Make sure relationship managers have the knowledge and tools required to deploy initiatives consistently and confidently with their dealers
Create an active dealer adoption community
- Establish and facilitate a recurrent adoption forum with dealer representatives, such as digital project managers and power users
- Use this community to prepare launches, capture field feedback, identify adoption barriers and share best practices
- Connect dealer feedback with the relevant internal stakeholders and ensure gaps, issues and improvement opportunities are followed up
Monitor and improve adoption
- Track implementation and adoption across the network and identify where additional support or corrective actions are required
- Maintain clear adoption KPIs, implementation trackers and reporting
- Apply a consistent communicate, enable, monitor and improve approach across initiatives
- Turn feedback, knowledge gaps and identified issues into concrete improvement actions with clear ownership
What we are looking for
You are a hands-on, structured and collaborative adoption professional who is comfortable operating between central teams and a dealer network.
- Experience in change management, adoption, digital transformation or network enablement
- Strong roll-out capabilities: besides designing the approach, you are also able to drive it operationally
- Comfortable facilitating workshops, training and train-the-trainer sessions
- Able to translate complex project or product information into simple, actionable material for field teams
- Proactive and curious: you go and get the information you need rather than waiting for it to come to you
- Confidence to constructively challenge project and product teams from an adoption and dealer-readiness perspective
- Critical mindset combined with strong stakeholder management and excellent collaboration skills
- Strong communicator and facilitator, able to engage both internal stakeholders and dealer representatives
- Comfortable working with adoption metrics and turning data and feedback into actions
Strong assets
- Experience with structured change or adoption methodologies such as ADKAR
- Experience working in an automotive, dealer, retail or franchise network environment
- Experience with digital tools and transformation programmes involving large groups of end users
Technical skills
- Office 365 and SharePoint at intermediate level
- Understanding of user journey mapping
Languages
- Dutch or French at full professional proficiency
- English at full professional proficiency
